FEATURES
SQJ610 is a new process for making sand cores or moulds using CO2 cured Alkaline Phenolic Resins :
1. A simplified process with high production capabilities. Special equipment for making cores or moulds is not required; pattern or core boxes can be made using a variety of materials.
2. Resin does not contain nitrogen, sulphur, or phosphorus, reducing many related defects.
3. CO2 is non-toxic, and the process is environmentally friendly.
4. Long bench life (3 days) of mixed sand reduces waste and improves productivity.
5. Eliminates hot tearing defects and improves casting surface finish. Moulds and cores have good resistance to humidity.
6. Various sands can be used for the process, and the resin is suitable for a variety of metals such as cast iron, steel, etc.
Specification

application guide
Resin addition is 2.5 - 3.5% based on weight of sand.
Sand and resin are mixed for 60 – 120 seconds, blow mould or core, and then gas with CO2 at 10L~25L/min. Depending on core / mould configuration, and sand temperature, gassing times from 10 second to several minutes may be required .
PRECAUTIONS
1. Material can cause severe irritation and chemical burns. Wear appropriate protective clothing. If resin contacts skin, wash immediately with large quantity of clean water.
2. Resin should be kept in cool, and dry place out of direct sunlight. Handle with care. |
